Here's the official T-Mobile product guide for the G1, lots of the info has already been leaked earlier today.

But it's a nice concise guide for the phone.

Did T-Mobile forget they've been selling the sidekick that also has a QWERTY keyboard and trackball (and has since the sidekick 3 launched in 2006)?

I agree, the lack of exchange support is a bit disappointing. But hopefully that'll get added at some point later.

Overall im pretty happy with the hardware specs.

Yes, I agree. I think next Android update or version will have exchange support. And of course now have good hardware specs.

A 3rd party developer could create support for exchange (as mentioned during the press event), and I'm sure one will create a video recording application.

This is the beauty of the open platform. You don't need to wait for Android to make these additions and release an OS update. Any developer can do it.

Lack of video capturing software isn't such a big deal for me, but i am surprised there wasn't some kind of YouTube -> capture -> upload -> share application.

Perhaps that's in the pipeline.

There is no such thing as "Exchange" support. The android just needs to support email clients that can use HTTP(s), IMAP, &/or LDAP based connections to their email servers , which I bet it already does... or will soon. The difference is that your average exchange user isn't going to understand what that means... or how to configure it. So the learning curve is likely a bit higher.

But whatever...

I'm still p/o'd that T-Mobile lied to me about arrival time when I purchased my G1.
