I just bought a mytouch 4g after owning a blackberry curve the past couple years. ilove the phone and want to keep it protected. I am wondering if the quality of tmobiles accesories are much higher then the quality of the retailers you find online. Is it worth paying almost double at t-mobile stores?

I shopped around online while I waited for the delivery of my device. I ended up buying two accessories from the store for the quality. The online prices will be cheaper, but I also thought since the device was so new it would be a week or two before more accessories would be found online.

Oh...

Oh and about the comment on friends on other networks... the majority of people I know who actually talk on their cell phone are with Sprint, ATT and Tmo. The MANY Verizon users that I know are too uptight about running up their bill.

Also the Verizon users I know with DROID's think their 1xRTT internet speed is "typical". Maybe it's just my cluster of folks

I bought a clear snap on case for my Mytouch 4G and received it in the mail today. It cost me $3.00 on eBay and T-Mobile sells them for $30. Here's the kicker though, the case I bought won't even stay snapped on my phone, it keeps coming off on the top left corner. I've bought accessories for my devices before from Amazon and eBay and this is the first time I've had problems. To answer the question, if you want a quality accessory, go with what the carrier has in stock, if you wanna take a bit on a gamble then get them off 3rd party websites. You get what you pay for.
