Hi I am just about to order the G1 here in the UK and I am wondering if someone can explain the price plans

I dont make a massive amount of calls so I am looking at the
Combi 25 @ £30 a month
Or
Flext 30 @ £30 a month

Now the combi says with mobile internet and that it is a G1 price plan

And the Flext 30 says Free mobile internet.

Now my question is will I have to pay for internet usage on either of these plans.

As I am aware that the G1 is always online and I dont want to be hit with huge bills all of a sudden.

Cheers

Hi there, being a t-mobile employee I recommend u go for the flext 30 package, more value for money! You don't need to pay any extra for internet it is included in the price of both plans.. Anymore questions jusk ask.

I'm not 100% sure on this, but from what i can tell you need the 'Web n Walk' addon for unlimited internet:

FREE web'n'walk Plus
You need this for the G1’s always-on internet. On Combi plans it’s an extra £5/month until the end of your contract. It’s already included in Flext plans, so there’s no extra charge.
So your Combi 25 plan would be £30 - making it the same as:

Flext 30 with web'n'walk Plus
£30.00/ month (18 months)
FREE T-Mobile G1
Unlimited internet
Up to 700 mins or 1400 texts or any mix you use

Edit: I see Paul beat me to it

I bought mine a couple of days after release but had no intention of going for the £40/month option. I paid a one off of £69.99 to take the Flext 30 package with Internet at £30/month.
