Although this doesn't show what is contained in a release build, or when we can expect it, the following URL does give you details of all the bugs that have been reported to the Android development team and comments made by the team. So, apart from the lack of updates, if there are any other bugs that you have found that haven't been reported you know where to report them to.

I've not received an update yet, and I think everyone in UK is getting pretty frustrated with the wait...

Uk Update Rc-8 Has Just Been Released And Install On My G1!!!!
Heres How To Do It:
Install "anycut" From The Marketplace, Create A Shortcut To "device Info", Open This Shortcut And Scroll To The Bottom . Select The "check For Upgrade Button"
This Will Locate And Install The Upgrade.
Superb!!
Ps. I Was Trying This Method Earlier But It Only Found The Update Now At 2am So It Looks Like They Just Put It On!!!!
Enjoy!!!!

Received update RC8 about 6.30 this morning. Next it's a case of identifying what the fixes are in this update. Initially I've noticed that the phone seems to be running a lot cooler, and hopefully the battery will last longer between charges. Also checked to see if the [enter]reboot[enter] problem has been fixed and can confirm that it has. If anybody else notices any other fixes could they please post it.

Thanks for that, those fixes fall very much in line with the latest RC 30 update from the US.
Looks like we got both the RC 29 and RC 30 updates bundled as one. Nice.

Have been waiting all day for the update, but nothing!!! Read about using the "anycut" method, have been trying that all day, repeatedly hitting the 'check for update' button - nothing. Noticed there is a field labelled 'requested build type' put 'user' in this and then retried repeatedly hitting the 'check for update' button, this time the latest update was downloaded and then after a minute or two the 'do you want to update?' pop-up appeared, I said yes and it all worked fine....
