Does anyone know of a way to copy applications (or save applications) to your SD card. I went out and bought an 8GB SD card for my G1 thinking that I would have plenty of space to save my apps and come to find out the apps are saved on the phone's memory itself, not the SD card. I downloaded the Android File Manager to see if I could find the programs and I could not find them anywhere. Any thoughts? Help?

I believe if you download an app it goes onto your SD card. In your case, since you already have your app on the SD card, try navigating over to the SD card from Browser -> Menu -> More -> Downloads. Do you see your app there? Can you execute it?

I don't have a G1 to try this. Let me know if this works.

Not right now, it is not possible. You can store the .apk on the SD card but once you install with apkInstaller it will be on your phone's internal storage. Right now the OS is not set up to do this.

It is possible to download .apk to SD card then install it to your mobile phone?
Because I cannot use GPS very often to download applications directly to my mobile phone, its very expensive for me.

And any authentic website from where I can download free .apk files to computer then transfer it to my phone.

GPS = Global Positioning Service, it's not used to download.
