Google Voice problem

I setup my google voice account yesterday and am having an odd issue. I cannot call my google voice number that forwards to my cell number from a land line phone. I can call the number just fine from another cell number but when I try it from a land line phone I get an error that says "The number you have dialed is not in service". I have done some google searches and can't find any resolutions to this problem other than "contact google" lol.

I've never had this problem, at least not that I know of. I get plenty of calls from land lines.

I submitted the issue to google but haven't heard anything back yet.

I just set up google voice to forward my cell calls to my google number yesterday and didn't think to test it yet. Sure enough, whenever I call my cell - from ANY phone - landline or cell.

I found a report form on google forums, but it sounded like people are having problems with their google voice number in general and I am only having problems since I did the forwarding thingy. I get the message: the number you have dialed **my google voice number**, has been changed to a non-published number. I get this message whether I call the google voice number OR my cell phone number from any phone.

Mine was acting kinda wonky the other day, I tried to call someone and it made that sound that an old dialup modem made when it was having issues connecting then the line went dead, then I tried again and it working without a hitch.

Well it has been two weeks since I submitted this issue to google and I have not heard back nor has the issue resolved itself so I guess that eliminates some sort of propagation as the cause.
