I ordered mine as an existing T-Mobile customer @ 9:30AM on the 22nd (1rst day sold), via the tmobile website.
Got the express shipping, and purchase w/out contract renewal....
bringing my cost to a total of $429.39!
No problems, at least I got it... I tell myself.
However, they told me I "have" to renew my contract, because I have to move from some access account state, to one with higher credit...
My response was, why didn't I get the option for that status 2 years ago when you signed me up! My credit's was/is fine!
Plus, why don't you mention this during (non-contract renewal) purchases by existing customers! It seems it might have been fair to mention this before I purchased the phone.
So they tell me I paid the extra 50 bucks for no reason....
whatever.... at least I'm getting it.... right?
Now they are telling me that the black G1 I ordered, may not be available for shipping until Nov 10th!
My last call rep told me that they were completely sold out as of 3:36pm (something like that) the next day (Thurs, Oct 23).
I say, whatever.... it "was" in stock when I placed my order.... what gives?
Basically... they can't tell me if I'll get my phone or not... If it's shipped or not, or anything!
The only thing got was a text page to my existing phone saying my account was being charged for the purchase!
no receipt, no email or confirmation of the purchase, no one who can tell me if I'll get the thing in the next two weeks... no knowledge of shipping status.....
But they've taken my money!
And of course, no tracking info on UPS's site, using the phone # as the tracking reference.
Which tells me that, since that tracking method has worked for others...... basically... I'm not getting the phone for at least 3 weeks!
Even though everything else before I purchased it said I'd see it this coming Monday.
Friggin' T-Liars I tell ya.
