I ordered mine as an existing T-Mobile customer @ 9:30AM on the 22nd (1rst day sold), via the tmobile website.
Got the express shipping, and purchase w/out contract renewal....

bringing my cost to a total of $429.39!

No problems, at least I got it... I tell myself.

However, they told me I "have" to renew my contract, because I have to move from some access account state, to one with higher credit...
My response was, why didn't I get the option for that status 2 years ago when you signed me up! My credit's was/is fine!

Plus, why don't you mention this during (non-contract renewal) purchases by existing customers! It seems it might have been fair to mention this before I purchased the phone.

So they tell me I paid the extra 50 bucks for no reason....

whatever.... at least I'm getting it.... right?

Now they are telling me that the black G1 I ordered, may not be available for shipping until Nov 10th!

My last call rep told me that they were completely sold out as of 3:36pm (something like that) the next day (Thurs, Oct 23).
I say, whatever.... it "was" in stock when I placed my order.... what gives?

Basically... they can't tell me if I'll get my phone or not... If it's shipped or not, or anything!

The only thing got was a text page to my existing phone saying my account was being charged for the purchase!

no receipt, no email or confirmation of the purchase, no one who can tell me if I'll get the thing in the next two weeks... no knowledge of shipping status.....

But they've taken my money!

And of course, no tracking info on UPS's site, using the phone # as the tracking reference.

Which tells me that, since that tracking method has worked for others...... basically... I'm not getting the phone for at least 3 weeks!

Even though everything else before I purchased it said I'd see it this coming Monday.

Friggin' T-Liars I tell ya.

Same thing here. Ordered it the 22nd around 10 a.m. with the 3 day express shipping, the rep said it should arrive on Monday (10/27), yet I get this when I try to track it:

"UPS could not locate the shipment details for your request. Verify your information and try again"

Which probably means it hasn't been shipped. Now I'm hearing all these rumors that they will not be shipped until November 10th.

This is bull...
If they would of told me in the first place that it would arrive in November then fine, but for them to say it should be here on Monday just plain sucks.

Well, hopefully you and I both get our phones on Monday by some odd chance.

That is the exact thing that I am hearing I ordered @ 12:15 am on the 22nd and was told they were in stock and i should be recieving mine on the 24th or the 27th and he added the g1 data to start on the 24th. Now they are telling me that I will recieve it by the 10th

Omg! same here i ordered mines on the oct 22nd early moring it was about 2 am in hawaii . they told me i will recieve my g1 on monday oct 27 and i cant even track my order on ups.com i called t-mobile about 5 times about my order still never get any info about the g1.... its stupid lol

Guys,
I got a bunch of liars from them too,

1) Pre ordered my phone on Oct 5th
2) No shipping status, so on Oct 22th I went to a local t-mobile store where it was supposed to have them for order ( Over nighted ).
3) Went there, the person took me all my order, etc when I was driving to my home I noticed that in the receipt said "UPS Ground"
4) I called her right away from my car and asked what was going on there, and guess what she said? "sorry SR., was my error I thought that it would be Over nigthed to you, but not, it will be ups, you will have by Friday this week"
5) I called T-mobile Customer CRaP and I asked a guy that I wanted to cancel my Pre order from Oct 5th since I will get my other phone soon that I did the order on Oct 22nd and this lady did not do antything about to cancel my pre order and she did not explain how it worked, he told me that he could do it, because my phone was in "back order" the order that I did on OCt 5th, so I said, fine, cancel that and I will get my phone that I ordered on Oct 22nd Soon.
6) I called on Friday Oct 23rd to Tmobile Customer Crap and a lady from there told me that don't worry I should receive my phone in 7 business days and that I should see the status somewhere between Friday Oct 24th or Monday Oct 27, but I will get it for sure soon.
7) I called again Tmobile Customer Crap on Friday Oct 24th and guess what? the guy told me that, he had on his system that this was programmed to receive it by Nov 10th, that he does not know how these ladies gave me that false information, he was telling me the truth.

What really is going on with this stupid service? this is a crap service from T-mobile employees, they tell liars and when they don't know the answer they invent one and give it to you, that's really stupid and bad ! Are they playing with T-mobile customers? do they want that we get angry? what is really going on with these stupid people?

I am asking everybody, what will be the next stupid excuse and answer from T-mobile customer crap? to receive the phones next year 2009 at the end of the year for xmas? Stupid people for sure !

What's worse in my case, is when I asked to cancel my order... (seeing as I paid an extra $70 for no reason, other than T-Mobile lied to me) they told me they can't cancel the order!

You know..... this might be be the last time I trust T-Mobile... I may just return the thing when I get it; "not renew" my contract.... and move to a competitor in a few months (like sprint, whom is really no better... but at least they ship their products on time)!

This crap should be illegal.... oh wait... it is.

Please call them today at 12:00 and let them know that some other people that ordered the same on the 22nd around 12:00 PM they are getting this wednesday, what's going on with your order, at least to put more pressure and find out what they are doing this people, they are not well organized, mine is coming now this wednesday, suddenly it appeared it appear in the tracking information from ups

well this sucks, called customer service again and now im being told my phone is on backorder, and she couldn't give me a timeline of when I will get my phone.. What makes me more upset is that some people who have ordered on 22nd later then I am is getting them.. I order at 9am on the 22nd on the east coast.. what gives!

I ordered mine at the Tmobile store on the 22nd at around 12pm. I was told I wouldn't recieve it until Nov 10th (give or take) and I was fine with that. But then I got curious and called customer service and they told me that mine was actually processed already and I'm lucky to have ordered same day. Because they had limited quantities available and it would be shipped on a first come first serve basis.

I have my tracking number already and it's set for UPS 3day ground. So I should get it Wed/Thurs hopefully.

To all the people having issues with shipping, I suggest you call them back and keep bugging them about it.
