This is becoming a big concern to me, because of the size of the phone. It's larger than a sidekick judging by the pictures, and when i saw one of those in the store I thought they were pretty large.
And how do you think they will hold up since they will be living in your pocket? Some of my phones have ended up looking pretty beaten from sitting in my pocket so much

oh, and it looks like the camera doesnt have a flash, if it indeed doesnt, anyone know if the pictures will still look good at night? or will this have to be tested on the 22nd

It feels just fine here. And it's smaller than the sidekick.

Well I will have to wait for it. But once i have it I'll tell the world what I feel. However, I would prefer to walk with my G1 in hands inspite of pocket.

Yeah i've been wondering about this too, i've kinda got used to how slim my touch diamond is, but ultimately it's not a major buying concern for me.

Also i wonder if here's any cases in development to support the slide out keypad.. guess that might be kinda tricky.

I'm not too concerned really, fingers crossed it's slimmer than my Nokia N95 though

carrying the g1 in your pocket really is not big deal? i kept it in my pocket today at school and it really is not as big as you would think. I actually kept it in my pocket in its case! ha, but yeah its no problem.

ha, and i agree, i found it hard to keep it in my pocket considering the urges to pull it out and have everyone go "omg that is the sweetest phone ever :o"
