Actually if you call T-Mobile I believe you can upgrade to this phone now at full-discount if you bought your G1 the month it came out. They do full-discount on smartphones after 12 months from what I understand. I was going to call next week to see if I could upgrade.

Predictive text is nice, but I'm one of those people who type by touch, not by looking at the keyboard, so a touchscreeen keyboard is actually a step back as far as functionality is concerned.
