G1 3G Service in Jacksonville

I purchased a G1 today, finally dropped my treo 700w i've had for 3 years. I did alot of homework but failed to check if we had 3g here, I only assumed we did since they were selling the G1.

I am in Jacksonville, FL. We have 3g with AT&T here, can i roam on at&t's 3g network for data?
