Hi, I have a number of email accounts setup on my Galaxy S2.

GMail
BT Internet
Hotmail
Sky

My BT Internet, Hotmail and Sky account all push emails to my phone, so they come through when they arrive in my inbox.

My GMail is different. I have to keep going into my GMail application and hitting refresh for the emails to appear.

Is there any way for the GMail app to push emails to me automatically so when an email is sent, I will get a notification?

Thanks,

The GMail app in the market automatically pushes to the device. If you are having issues with receiving GMail via tha app, I would suggest that you go to Galaxy S2 Settings --> Accounts & Sync --> Tap the account associated with your Gmail. In the next menu that appears (Data & Synchronization) make sure the box to the right of Sync Gmail is checked.

Let me know if that helps.
