Hi everyone,
I have a few questions about the Nexus S security. I lost mine yesterday (or perhaps it was stolen), and I would like to know whether it's possible for whoever found it or took it to peek inside. Some more details:
+ My SIM card is pin-protected, so I'm not worried about that.
+ ADB / debugging on the phone is disabled.
+ There is a lockscreen password (5-digit).
+ No backup apps installed, no custom ROM, not rooted.
+ Phone lost or stolen while it was out of battery, meaning whoever boots it will have to enter my SIM-card PIN code + phone lockscreen password to use it.
+ Right after losing the phone I kept checking the "accessed from" Gmail page to check if anybody managed to boot it and get it on the Internet. So far nothing.
+ I also installed the Plan B application (which you can install on a phone from the market webinterface AFTER you lose it and it will send you the GPS coordinates), so far nothing.
What I would like to know is how likely / possible is it for someone who has physical access to be able to access my files (emails, messages, images, videos) on the phone (I don't actually care if they keep the phone).
Thank you for your help
PS. OS is 2.3.4 OTA
