Hey everyone,
I have and SGSII and I've noticed some strange behaviour with the driving app. When I turn driving mode on using the widget on one of my home screens, when i receive a message, the phone will only read out who sent me the message (the contact), but it won't give me any options to hear the message, hands-free.
FYI In my settings > text-to-speech settings it is set to read the message contents aloud.
If I go into voice talk, then turn on driving mode, and then leave the voice talk screen open, it actually works, so it reads out the contact name and the contents of the message. However, if I go ahead and sleep the device from this screen, it no longer works, and just says the name of the caller again. So basically it only works if voice talk is open, and the device is not asleep. Is this normal? Has anyone experienced this, and if so, found any way around it?
