As it stats in the title I need help in removing shortcuts from the main screen that I don't want. Please help me!

Push and hold on the app shortcut until the phone vibrates and then drag it down to the tab at the bottom of the screen. You will see the tab turn red and then take your finger off the screen and it will be removed.
