E-Mail Frustration!

I got this phone primarily for email/internet/phone... Don't care so much about the apps...

I have TWO Optonline email accounts - both are working properly with incoming and outgoing. BUT -- the crazy thing is -- is that I cannot delete messages. The techs at SPRINT tell me that I'm correct. My 1000+ messages just sit in my trash can. I asked, "So what does that do to my memory?" And, they tell me it uses up all the space! They told me to DELETE the entire account when I want to delete my mail. Never mind that there are messages in the inbox I want to keep. I should delete the account and then re-install everytime I want to empty the trash.

I was annoyed at first that there is no EMPTY TRASH command, or capability to select all and delete... So, I hand-deleted about 800 messages, shut down, and when I turned the phone back on -- the messages were all there!

Does this sound crazy? Anyone else having these issues??

You are not alone. I have so many emails now that I have gotten yahoo email to account. I am going to eliminate Yahoo from sending emails to my Moment and just use the Browser to retrieve them. You would think this problem / situation would be an easy fix! If you find a fix, let me know. I have looked many places and still can't find a fix. I was hoping there would ba an application I could download that would help.

I don't have this problem cause I just delete the email, but you are right there is no trash to delete so where are the emails going?
Another problem is the favorites where when you sync it puts your contacts in favorites as well and then you have to delete them one by one unless there is something I don't know about.

1. This is off topic. Please keep threads on topic by sticking to the subject matter. Any additional issues should be either posted on a more relevant thread or have new thread started.

2. As you posted this same issue elsewhere (also on a thread about a different issue) this is cross threading and is another "no no" of forum rules.
