Hi,I have disabled data traffic on my galaxy s and do not know how to switch it back on , can someone please help?

I don't know the easy way, but you can do this:
On the phone dial pad type:
*#*#4636#*#*
- Without pressing 'dial' you are brought to a menu called 'testing'. There choose 'Phone information'.
- Then press the menu button
- Choose more
- Tap the 'Enable data connection' menu option
