Galaxy y applications disappeared!

Hey people, today, after installing some apps and then i was browsing through dolphin browser when, my Samsung galaxy y phone restarted and to my surprise, many of the apps which i had installed were not present. apps like opera mini, dolphin, nimbuzz, and many others just disappeared! please help me know about the problem if someone experienced

The same thing happens to me. It also happened when I removed the SD card to put music on. Task manager says they're all still installed and running? Its also not all apps but a selected few? Very odd...

and just to add to the confusion they have come back now of their own accord... Not in the same place that I had them before on the menu but they're all there!
