Situation - server running OpenIndiana.
Samsung Galaxy S2
Unit has a ZFS pool with a published SMB share. This is accessible by everything including Ubuntu workstations, Windows workstations, Original Xbox and a rooted Apple TV2 - however, not ESFE.
I can browse the network and see the shares. Even adding a share in to the server list and then adding the authentication, results in the much talked about...
LOGIN FAILURE
This may be caused by...
Now ... something I've noticed.
On editing the server properties, the "demo" below the server name is missing the "//". However, it seems to require the "//" in order for this screen to successfully accept and save the server share details.
Looking at the properties, I then get smb:////192.168.... etc.
I'm running version 1.6.0.7 from the Android Market today.
Any help gratefully appreciated.
