First time I have ever posted on a forum, hoefully this is the right place. Appologies if not, but want to save other people some potential headaches.
I received update yesterday and as far as I could tell from the instructions I received there was no mention that I must have synchronization enabled in order to conserver my data. I had synchronization disabled.
After the update, which appeared to work perfectly in all other regards, my contact list was empty. After contacting customer support they indicated there was no backup available and I should have had synchronization enabled.
If you are going to upgrade I would advise that you synchronize your contacts and calendar with the server. My calendar was not synchronized and it appeared to maintain its data.
I love the rest of the update.
