I have had this issue on my 3G where the phone will freeze / crash. The screen is blank. The buttons light up when pressed but that is it.
The last time this happened (today) the phone recovered but gave me one of those "Process stopped responding" messages for the camera app.
I have seen these for process.acore or something like that as well. I guess this is the equivalent explorer.exe taking a dump. Usually my only fix has been to remove the battery. The OS version is 1.6.
Ideas?
