My touch

I GOT MY MY TOUCH ON JULY 30TH AND I BEEN USING IT FOR A COUPLE DAYS NOW AND I NOTICED SOMETHIN FUNNY ABOUT IT................ THE RECEPTION IS SUPER CRAP!!! MY G1 HAD GREAT RECEPTION AND NOW I GOT THE MY TOUCH THE RECEPTION IS WAY WORSE AND SO IS THE BATTERY LIFE... IS ANYONE ELSE HAVING THESE PROBLEMS??? I DO LOVE THE PHONE THO

August 11th, after a regular day of use my My Touch started freezing up to the point it was just powering off. I wiped it twice and when it would come up to the desk top or home page and with in a minute it would freeze again. TMOBILE is taking it back, but I was pretty bummed out.

I have to agree with Dragon and MrBill...

I've only had the mytouch 3G for 10 days now but so far I've noticed the reception is not nearly as good as my blackberries...both the 8900 and the 9530. The battery barely makes it through half a day where my BB's would last at least until the end of the day under heavy usage. Recently, my phone has begun to freeze up and is "force closing" more and more frequently. It started off as a pretty fast phone but now, I'm often waiting for it...seems to lag. I have not installed that many apps, maybe 10 and only a weather bug widget.

I REALLY want to like this phone and ANDROID but if this continues, I'm returning back to Tmobile and sticking with a good ole' Blackberry.

Tips/advice/suggestions?...

no problems at all with either Android or reception, everything has been working great

i have a problem guys should i get the my touch if i have a g1 but get this i taked tombile in to letting me buy it and a super discounted price since i had the g1 exchagned like 15 times so they say i can get it for $119/ ill still have my g1 but the my touch as alot of free space. or should i just root my know and use my 16gb SD card as internal memory and in october im getting the hero from sprint so im going to have 3 android phones guys i dont know what to do help me please

yea, ive had this my touch for about 3 weeks and it, force closes, powers off and is generally unresponsive, problem is pretty consistent. $480 phone that doesn't last a month, never messing with htc again. my friend's htc's are showing signs of the same. the phone was great, i dont know what happened. DONT BUY THE MY TOUCH 3G (if you want a phone that will continue to work)

I have had the Mytouch since July. The performance continues to get slower, reception is terrible. I went to the Tmobile store and tested it against other phones. I had 2 bars, while the others had 5.

The biggest problem I am having is dropped calls. Almost every conversation will drop off between five and eight minutes. Is this the phone or the network?

If I dump this thing, what do others recommend?
