I'm a newbie, so forgive elementary ?'s, but what does the blinking triangle icon at the top of the screen signify?

I usually get it. When im running out of storage space on the phones internal memory. If your quick you can pull down the notification tab where the triangle is. It will tell you the actual reason for the warning sign.
