Guys, I would like to get the Droid as I'm not that happy with the iPhone, but I have a problem, all my contacts, calendar and notes are in the Outlook on my pc and I read in all the forums that it is a problem syncing the Outlook to the Droid.
Can anyone help as I won't get the droid if that's the case.
Thanks

I have not been able to sync my Outlook with my Droid as our Corp put a block on it. I do though have my calendar and contacts sync'd via google sync. I installed the google calendar on my work pc and then it syncs with my work calendar. Hope this helps.

Export your contact list on a csv, import it to your gmail and sync your device with your gmail account, this will bring you the contacts to your phone.

then you can use google calendar to sync your calendar, and sync your device to your google calendar to update it that way.

annoying i know, but that's pretty much the only option i found out there since day one of owning the droid.

There's a program called Companion Link which works well. You can synchronize all your data to your google gmail account and your google calendar. The phone will sync them up then. You can set manual or auto sync, and choose to match them both up, or have one or the other as the priority. I was using Google calendar sync myself just for that part, until I found this program and it works perfect. Heck, now my outlook contacts even have pictures attached to them for the first time ever, since my droid hit up facebook, which then added those pictures to my contacts, which then synced with my outlook!!
