How to Delete SMS Thread (5000)

Hi All,

I am having a issue trying to delete a thread of 5000 sms I am trying SMS Cleaner, SMS Backup and Restore (delete sms function) non seem to delete the thread.

I would like to try the Delete Old Message appication but i am in Malaysia and we dont have Market Enabled in the HTC Magic here. Very Sad but true.

Can anyone guide me on where can i download applications that are available in Market place outside of the site and also if someone out there has encountered this issue and manage to resolved it besides Factory Reset please do let me know.

what is the issue?

on my phone i tried to delete a thread of 500 and I thought that it wasn't working but I just needed to leave the phone do the job, that took a little time like 2 or 3m

500 and 5000 is lots of different. I initiated the delete and kept my phone to do the job overnight. the phone hanged... nuthing else matters.

I trying to find a way where i can download application from the Market, is there and alternative method since a I dont have market enabled phone on mine.
