Hy all,
I know that my question is a little strange.
I want to synchronize my google phone with outlook only with the USB cable.
In this question I'm not connected to internet so i can't be connected to a gmail account.
For exemple with Iphone/Itunes it is possible.
Sorry for my english
Many thanks
Loïc

I have been asking the same questions since I purchased the Droid on November 6th, but it seems that all of the Verizon/Motorola instructions & Tech Help only know how to do this wirelessly. During the last conversation I had with Tech Help I was told that this was a new phone & the instructions I found on the Website was all they had to give me, so they were no help. I contacted the computer company who services our office computers & they said they could get it to work via USB, but it may take 4-5 hours & at over $100 per hour, I can't afford this. They told me that I needed my phone to work with my local Outlook, but there needs to be a Droid ActiveSync type of software to make it happen.
My previous HTC phone synced using ActiveSync via USB cable. Not sure why the Droid can't do this, but I'll keep looking. There "must" be a way to do this. After all...it's a smart phone! I love my Droid!!!

I've just bought my HTC Magic and I was amazed with the quality of the phone and with the features it contains. However, I've end up really disappointed with it because it does not contain a feature that I consider basic, and for me, is mandatory: it cannot synchronize with all the stuff in Microsoft Outlook (Tasks, Notes and Calendar). I've been using Nokia phones for a long time and all of them can do what the Magic mobile cannot!!! Therefore, I put my "not so Magic" mobile into a drawer waiting for the day when that feature would be available and I turned back to my old, but faithful, Nokia. What a disappointment!!!

I've had my Motorola Droid since November & still can't find anyone who knows how to sync this with my computer via cable like I did with my HTC. Cable syncing is much more secure, however, I understand the ease of wireless. My Google calendar works great, but contacts hasn't synced since November. When I go into Google, it says I need to uninstall the software & reinstall it, but what a pain that is. I'll need to do something since my Droid isn't updating contacts. I also miss not having tasks on my Droid as I did with my HTC. There are a LOT of other really good features on the Droid, but it would be nice to have some of the old stuff also. Seems like a smart phone like this can sync contacts & bring over tasks. I'll continue to wait...

Am on my second Android phone, a long time Outlook user. Companionlink sometimes works, but they have had lots of problems. Have kept looking for a solution and there doesn't seem to be one for my 6000 plus contacts.

MyPhoneExplorer seems to be capable, but stops after a hundred contacts. Uninstalled
Missing sync promising, but hangs on calendar
Finally got Companionlink going again once I went to USB sync, problems syncing via Google.
Sync2 was working and I was about to buy. However, I noticed some of my contact notes got messed up. Don't know if this was a Sync2 issue or Google contacts. This was when I decided that sync via Google contacts was a potential for issues - which I now have to clean up.
My last try would have been BlueSyncRoid if the others didn't work.
Plaxo and Soocial both didn't work. Besides, I was a bit concerned about their business model
Google apps, requires jumping through a million hoops to get setup before you can see if it works
One last thought, is that while Outlook add-ins are a great idea many screw up Outlook and have to be disabled just to get Outlook to start. There are a number of apps which I would like to be using if I could. Hence, working "outside" of outlook and not on the toolbar may work better for some. FYI, fresh Win 7 64 on new system, Office 2010 installed 32 bit to avoid compatibility issues.
I must say, when everything works my Epic 4G is a great tool.

I sync 700 contacts with MPE so not sure why you can only sync 100 - have you asked on the developers forum?
