I have a HTC Magic with Android 1.5. I don't think its either the T-Mobile or the Vodaphone version as I am in south africa and even though my provider is Vodacom (A Vodaphone company) the phone is not Vodaphone branded.
After getting caught in a reboot loop I hard reset the phone. Since then the open market app is missing which is a problem cos I downloaded the App Installer and OI File Manager there. So can anyone help to:
1) Get the Open Market App back
2) Install a file manager or any other app WITHOUT the app installer
3) Get to browse the SD card cos I have all my Apps there and if I can browse the card I can install my apk's by simply touching on the apk I want to install. (this is how I was doing it before the reset)
Also having a problem synchronising my Exchange calendar. There seems to be an option to synchronise exchange calendars cos it appears in "settings>data synchronisation>exchange activsync" but the calendar simply refuses to sync. Mail and Contacts works like da bomb but not calendars.
Appreciate any assistance
