For me too, the Touchscreen is very practice and useful, but at now, only combined with a phisical keyboard (for e-mail, sms and all the long text writing). But in the future I hope that the technology will fill this gap between phisical and virtual keyboard and a real, only touch device could be as useful as an hybrid solution.
IMHO, today the iPhone is the better solution for a full touch device, I want to try the Nokia Tube 5800 (that have the tactile feedback) to see if the touch screen keyboard can be compared to a phisical one. In this case, I wait for an android full-touch device

Just found out good news on the virtual keyboard that is available. So im happy to have both a virtual and physical keyboard.

No complaints here... just multitouch is the issue now__
but it will be hacked.

Yes guys I agree with you for physical keyboard but QWERTY not alpha-numeric. QWERTY is more useful.

Why qwerty and not a good keyboard layout like QZERTY, AZERTY, Dvorak, Colemak, etc.?

Qwerty was designed specifically to slow the typist down on old, manual typewriters to prevent jamming.
