Can anyone tell me how to change the settings or tweak them for the HTC Legend?

The text message view is really annoying, each time you open a thread you have to scroll all the way down to the bottom. My friend has a Galaxy and it automatically goes to the bottom to show the latest text message.

I downloaded GO Sms from the market, no problems since and it is super customisable
