Hi,
My wife and I each have a HTC Legend and would like to Sync them to our respective MS Outlook 2007 accounts which are located under different user accounts on a Windows 7 PC. So I get my contacts and appointments and she gets her contacts and appointments.
The problem is that after installing HTC Sync 3.0 (not tried earlier versions) it seems that the PC will only recognise the last installation and will sync the data from one Outlook account to both phones. So I get my wifes contacts and appointments and she also gets her contacts and appointments.
This isn't much use to me.
Any ideas on how I can get HTC Sync to work in the way I would like it to?
Thanks,
Mike

Ok,

After much trial and error I think I have found the solution.

What I needed to do was log on to the administrator account first (I don't run my user accounts, including mine, as administrator accounts).
Once there I connected the phone (I actually had both phones connected at the same time) and then go through the registration process.
Once registered/connected on the administrator account I disconnected the phone(s) and logged out.
Then I could go back the the individual windows user accounts and reconnect the appropriate phone and it was recognised. Better than that, it only downloaded the correct content to the phone.

Hurray, problem resolved. Just a pitty the Help files don't make it clearer (they may not say it at all but I feel like being charitable).
