I have the myTouch Slide and I am having memory troubles...
Why do I have 7.15GB of free SD card memory and yet only 11MB (out of 145MB) of phone memory? I cant download any more apps. I have deleted almost everything I have ever downloaded but it seems I never get the space back. I deleted 500+MB of music and 250MB of video and still nothing...
Can someone explain the difference form internal phone memory and SD memory and how I can use the SD card? Also, is there a good way or app to clean-up my phone?

HELP...

JASON

Are your contact storage space taking up the phone memory? If so, a hard reset is the only cure I know.

I had tried hard reset. But the contact storage had not go down a bit. Why?

I don't think my contact info is taking up much memory. How come all of the apps and pretty much everything I do is being stored on the internal phone memory as opposed to the 7.35GB of free SD card? It seems a sham to have 8GB of memory when the phone isn't even using it??
I'm sure I am doing something wrong here...
What is the SD card for if it's not being used by the phone?? Tha's my real question.

Try Settings > Applications > (Select app) > Move to SD card
SOME of your apps assuming 2.2 or later will allow this and free up space.
