Hi!

I've just bought a Desire and I'm really happy with my purchase :-)

The only problem I've encountered so far is that when I connect it to my D-Link Dir-615 router it appears to be connected and everything, but I just can't use internet.

Any idea how I can solve this? Thanks for your help!!!

I have exactly the same issue and am sure this is due to HTC Desire.
In my home I have a Zyxell router that offers internet connectivity to all PC's and home (and also successfully to my HTC Desire). Next, I have a range extender setup on the third floor. This has worked for over a year now and provides access to PCs. However, whenever my Desire gets connected from the router to the extender I loose internet connectivity.

Hi. I have similar problem. My HTC desire wi-fi connection works well at home and at a meeting place recently. However it refused to connect to the free wi-fi on the East Coast train. It says connected but internet is not working. Also, a box popped out that says something about the site security. My friend's IPhone on the same trip connected without a problem. Anybody else has similar problem and could help ? Tks.
