Yesterday I got my new HTC Hero to connect to my PC (running Windows 7) after booting it without the driver protection and installing some ADB drivers. It ran HTC Sync no problems and all looked good.
I left my PC on the whole day, but when I plugged my hero back in again later, it didn't connect. The PC made sounds like it had connected, the Hero showed it had a USB connection, but HTC Sync said it wasn't...
Today I boot up, plug in the Hero and now the ADB in device manager has a little problem symbol.
Am I going to have to boot each time with no driver protection? Even then, it only worked the once yesterday... can anyone help?
