i need help rooting my htc hero. i did the steps but the app will not show up. can anyone help. email me at redsdaddy09@yahoo.com

What steps did you do? Do you have a link you can post that you followed?
Were you on 1.6 going to 2.1? Or>?

Have you tried using Universal Androot, or SuperOneClick? Easy as pie.
