Hello all. Firstly let me welcome myself to the community. I've been lurking for a few weeks here and this is my first time participating. I've got a question about applications automatically launching when I restart my HTC Hero. Basically, how do I get them to stop?

Specifically I have my IM application launching and automatically signing me into AIM/MSN/Yahoo. I've gone to the settings for all 3 IM clients and there is nothing to deselect regarding 'launch application upon startup' or anything of that nature. Is anyone else having this issue? How do I fix this?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I don't know of a way to do this. However, if you have software like Advanced Task Killer (which I use) you can kill the app after everything loads up.
