My phone finds several routers in my area, including my own of course. Which everything else in my house connects to fine.

I put in the WEP key (triple checked to make sure it's right) and the phone does nothing. I'm using the Livebox router, and i've tried the 'pressing the pairing button on the router'. Still nothing.

I've turned off the security to make it an open network. Still wont connect.

One of the other routers it picks up in my area is actually an unsecured network. The phone actually connects to that one, but when going to the internet it says 'page cannot be displayed'

Why wont the phone connect to 'my' router network?"

any help is much appreciated.....

I have a similar problem. The Hero connects to my home wifi without issue, it connects to my parents wifi when I visit them... BUT it sometimes, and only sometimes refuses to connect to my work wifi to which my PC, laptop, wireless bridge and printer have no problem with. The only way I've found to remedy this is to reboot the router.

How did you solve your problem?

I changed the channel on my Router, but every other day or so it'd happen again. So in the end i had to factory reset my router. Now it stays connected permanently. I'm guessing that might be difficult for you to do at your work place! ?

No, not difficult for me to do but if that's the only way to solve the problem then I can't be bothered anyway. All the important wireless gear works just fine so don't want to risk buggering that up!

Thanks for the info.
