My understanding is that if you are connected to a wifi network the phone will always default to using this as its preferred data source for Internet Access. Can anyone else confirm this..?

I have added a widget to one of my desktops to make easy clicking so you can switch it on and off when nessasary

click + in bottom corner of the screen you want to add the widget .. Select HTC widget then select settings then hold your finger on mobile network so you can drop it on your desktop.. sorted ... i have the wifi, bluetooth, mobile network and gps all together so its easy ..

1. Hold down the on/off button for a few seconds until the 'Phone Options' pops up.

2. Select 'Mobile network' and ensure it says 'Connect to Internet is OFF'.

This will turn 3G/Edge off, leaving just WI-FI when available and your network operator.

I'm thinking about getting a G1. Will this work for that too?
