Try downloading Rings Extended from the market and it will let you choose ringtones that you made to set for your sms, calls, alarms, notification, etc.
That didn't work for me. Although the mp3 file copied successfully to the subfolder, the track did not show up in the list when I went to change the notification sound.
Any ideas?
that's because he pointed out the wrong directory on the sdcard.
It's: /media/notifications for sms-tones
/media/ringtones for ringtones
