yes im new, im buying a G1 off a good friend next week (thier contract is ending) obviously on t-homobile, so just a few quick questions:

1: if t-mobile dont unlock it for my friend when she asks to do so, how would i go about unlocking it

2: how do i get the brand new android firmware like on my mates desire

3: whats like the bestest apps out

4: is there a guide how to change the fascia?

Don't buy that phone. The G1 was the first Android phone, meaning that it was a great phone when it first came out, but now it is old and should be retired. If you are going to be going through T-Mobile I am sure they can hook you up with a cheap phone that is going to be running the newest version of Android, something your friend's Desire doesn't have.
