Help! I was trying to get rid of some un-used apps on my G1
and looked up how to get rid of amazon....
I thought ImProvider was for instant messaging-
since I don't use it I deleted it in terminal emulator
using the code:
mount -o rw,remount /system
rm -r/system/app/ImProvider.apk
now I can't download anything-
I am a total novice and should not have been messing around in the term emulator- is there anyway to undo this?
I have been searching for hours to see if there is a code to undo this-
I reset to factory settings 2x but that didn't help.
Any advice would help- is this beyond repair- please don't be snarky- I have no experience with comps and just wanted to free up space, as well as being ocd and wanting to get rid of the damn amazon thing.
