I know this is possible because its happened to my phone before on accident. But does anyone know how to get the name of the applications on the home page off?? Where all it shows is the icon for the application and not the name of it as well. Ive looked everywhere!! Please help!!

there might be an app that does that, something that will let you create blank labeled shortcuts, but what you experienced is a glitch, not a feature.
