What causes the message: “Cannot download. The size of the item cannot be determined?”
I have never seen this message before on my tmo g1.
In the past, I have successfully downloaded jpeg webcam images from a particular web site. Recently the site was down for several days for a “tune up” and is now back up. After using the same procedure that has worked in the past to download these images I now get the message “Cannot download. The size of the item cannot be determined.” Images from other sites continue to download routinely.
Does anyone here have any ideas on what changes may cause a new inability to determine size preventing download in android crc1 or perhaps how to work around this? Firefox on Xp pro sees the identical image location and identifies the image size of 53.08 KB (54357 bytes) & the jpeg format properties. Downloading to pc then copying to the sd card seems like a long way around considering the past success with the two step long press & save press image downloads.
