Hello!

So lately, when I am typing on my keyboard, it seems like half the time my spacebar "double spaces" and the G1 input parser automatically turns the second space into a period and starts the next word In Capital Letters.

For example, if I type the following without looking:

"Hey GQ, it's Prime. I'm getting Thai food tonight. Too bad you live so far away, nyah nyah."

It ends up looking like this:

"Hey GQ, it's. Prime. I'm getting. Thai food. Tonight. Too. Bad you live. So far. Away, nyah. Nyah."

It's ridiculous. I don't recall dropping the phone or doing anything even remotely damaging at all. I'm wondering if some update borked it.

Anybody else having this issue?

It worked. I appreciate it.

However, that brings up the question: Why is my G1 suddenly doing two spaces for every one spacebar press?

It's beginning to be a serious problem: almost every time I hit the spacebar, I get two spaces.

Thank god this was addressed.
I was about to go crazy over here!

My space bar however sometimes still spaces twice per 1 push. It seems to be super sensitive & this is a recent thing.
Idk what the deal is.

It's got to have something to do with an update - I swear I haven't dropped or spilled anything on my phone that would cause keyboard errors, and it's ONLY the spacebar.

Glad I'm not the only one.

This problem is driving me fucking nuts!
It HAS to do with the update.
I've tried searching for a solution via Google.. nothing.

Call customer service probably? Or If It's physically damaged than you can use your warranty on it.

I am experiencing the same thing and it is really annoying. I don't want to turn off the Auto Completion or Auto Punctuation, I need those. This started happening recently for no reason and its stressing me out. I almost want to throw my G1 into a lake... of fire.... lol! No but for real, its pissing me off.

Mine is still doing it. I think I'm just gonna go with warranty replacement and throw in the towel. It's got to be a hardware issue.
