Help to Root to Hero

I would like some help on how to root to hero. If you don't mind i would like a step by step tutorial on how to do this including adb commands if nessasary and back up to nandroid or cygon or anything. And the whole process to upgrade the radio and spl. if anyone can do this or make a video it will be so much appreciated.

It's simple. Make sure your rooted (I won't go into that since the info is everywhere) then all you have to do is make sure you have the newest radio (2.22.19.26I) and the "danger" spl (1.33.2005). If you have to install that make sure you have a pvt board and you install radio first then spl (or you'll have a paperweight. But when install the spl it will overwrite your existing rom so you will need adb set up so you can push the rom or have a card reader to load it. Or if you already have cyanogens 1.4 recovery image then you can have as many .zip files on the root of your card and flash away. Then make sure your card is set up (fat32 partition, ext2/3/4 partition, and linux-swap partition) then flash the hero rom you want.
