Just a quick little poll, to see what the most popular color choice will be amoungst everyone for the G1.

Even though i haven't yet seen the black/brown i'm still gonna take the white version. Based purely on the fact i've had black phones in the past and they just smudge up soo easier.

I'm thinking a white one will hide a lot of marks and stuff.

I currently have a white G1 but the keyboard is so damn difficult to read under certain lighting conditions, as I am outside the 14 day return for replacement warrenty I am currently in talks with Tmo to swap with a black one, as the white model is not "fit for use".

All I want is a keyboard i can see when Im using it, I dont care for the phone colour

i have the white g1. i chose white because everyone has the black one and they were out of the brown. the white g1 just looks so elegant and fancy!

I opted for the White G1 also, makes a change from all the black phones i've had.

Completely agree about the keypad though, it can be frustrating reading the buttons.

i just turned off the backlight to the keypad, its almost impossible to see the letters under certain lightings.
