I tried to google my problems with G1, but I couldn't find anyone who had the problems similiar to mine, so I decided to post my own topic describing the problems and I hope someone will be able to help me out with it.
First problem is the GPS, it worked fine at first with no problems when I unpacked the phone, later I kind of forgot about it, installed few applications from Android market only to find out few days later that now it doesn't work with any application. The icon keeps flashing with satellite and green arcs, which clearly shows that it can't get a fix on the location through satellite. Did anyone have same problem? I'd really like to know how to make the GPS work again as it is a great feature.
Second problem I have is with the Camera application. Seems that taking pictures sometimes works and sometimes it doesn't. When I try to take a photo, I press lightly on the Capture button to get focus. The green dot in upper-right screen flashes, but usually it never stops flashing... Only when it stops miraculously (like 1 on 20 times I try to make a photo restarting the app), the photo will be taken. I read on the forums that it should also work to take a photo using the wheel button, though nothing happens when I press it.
I'm really looking forward to any responses. If you know what can be done to make the G1 work in 100% for me, please let me know.
