1, will the blue tooth ever be fixed? I refused to by a phone 3 years ago because it didn't have the ability to send files through blue tooth, a feature that even then was pretty much standard. Its also a feature i use a lot, i checked that the g1 had blue tooth but it never occurred to be that they'd ship it with blue tooth that didn't work. Apparently its used for head sets but i've never used one and see no use for one other then to tease and make fun of people that walk by wearing them.
2, I get a lot of jokes and other notes via text id like to keep on my old phones i just moved these texts to a different folder. However with the G1 i don't seem to be able to do anything with texts and worse it joins all the texts from 1 person into 1 thread, meaning notes are lost in a sea of texts. Is there a way to organise texts?
3, if i try to delete all my msg threads the ap just hangs and fails. Needing a reboot before it does anything. it also displays a orange ! beside a lot of picture msgs even if they did send fine.
4, anyone know why the skype app wont run through the network, instead it rings your mobile and charges you?? Anyone know when a proper skype app is coming out?
5, is there anyway to get the camera to a standard that is usable?
6, is there a date for the uk 'cupcake' update and will this sort any of these problems?
7, will it ever support multi finger touching?
8, by default the home page is spread over 3 pages can this be increased?
I know this seems like a lot of bad mouthing but these really are the only bad issues with the phone, so its not to bad at all. In a lot of ways im really pleased with it. The blue tooth and texting things are a real night mare but the phone is really quite nice all in all.
Any advice on making the phone a better unit to live with would be greatly appreciated, ie what are must have apps to install etc.
