I have hacked into my evo and it is fully rooted. I couldn't patiently wait for my 32gb microsd card to come in. What is going to happen when I change out my microsd card? Will I need to root my phone over again?

Hrmm.. I am not sure because I have not rooted my Evo, but I can tell you that chances are you will have to.

Anything on your 8gb card you put on, or want to keep is going to have to be transfered to the 32gb card.

So I assume since you had to download the rootpack, it is most likely saved on your 8gb card.

What I would do honestly to be safe, is convert your Evo back to default and then swap the chips and then re-root.

Thats what I would do anyways.

If you already rooted your EVO, I think they won't take it back.

Just got my evo & haven't rooted yet, but it should pretty much be the same deal as a rooted g1, as in just format your sd with the partition setup you want, need and swap, I never had issues swapping cards in my g1's, so I wouldn't figure it to be much different, you root the main file system, at any rate there shouldn't be much to it...

Heh, root=freedom. Do a quick search for root & you should find plenty of info on the subject.
