No "Droid" sound on phone startup.

Recently my phone doesn't make that "Droid" voice sound when starting up. Now it just makes a generic ringing noise. I've reset the phone multiple times, made sure the sound was on before shutting it down, but it still doesn't make that "Droid" voice sound on startup. I kinda liked it and would love to get it back. Anyone know how to fix this? I would greatly appreciate any help with this issue.

I had the same thing happen to me. Maybe it was caused by a system remote update?

Anybody still have the droid noise on startup?

Go to settings > sound & display > notification ringtone > choose android if you have another program for ringtones then choose droid

I did it and turned my phone off then back on. It worked.
