ActiveSync Contacts not syncing

Hey all;
I have a Droid running against a Scalix ActiveSync (Exchange, for all intents and purposes) server. I had a WinMo (Samsung i760) running against my ActiveSync with no issues. My Droid downloads and synchronizes my Corporate Calendar and E-mails, but only downloads 5 contacts (of my ~300).
I Installed Touchdown (a 3rd party AS app) and it got it all, but unfortunately Touchdown doesn't integrate with the native Droid contact list/ phonebook.

Is anyone else experiencing troubles with Corporate accounts and the Droid?

I've posted this question on the Scalix ActiveSync forum as well, although I suspect this is an issue in the Droid contacts application.

I've been trying to sync my Droid with my Corporate Outlook calendar & contacts, but am having trouble with the settings. I am used to using ActiveSync with my HTC & Palm, but Droid does it wirelessly, I guess. Aparently I'm not using the right Domain name, but our IT person & I are working on this. Getting some good help from Verizon too. We use an Exchange Server. I look forward to syncing my calendar & contacts, which I have been working on for 2 weeks. Sorry I don't have any helpful tips to solve your problem. I love my Droid & know that the customization takes time to fine tune.

I'm having the exact same problem. I have had no luck with the push email or contacts what so ever. Though to work around the contacts issue, I imported them all into gmail and from gmail into the phone. Though I still can't get email through the corporate exchange server.

gmail and your google docs is really the key to this stuff. I haven't had to deal with exchange in a couple years, so I'm not up on it at all. If you can get your gmail account that you have setup with your droid to fetch your POP3 mail from your work email account you'll get the functionality you want. I suspect that your exchange is blocking fetching by gmail though???
