How do I Sync the Motorola Droid with my Outlook?
I would have thought that this would have been a basic feature
Any assistance would be great!

I don't know if there's a 'desktop sync' application for Outlook, but if you use Exchange (or a mail server that provides ActiveSync, such as Scalix, Zimbra, etc.), then you can set up your mailserver as a 'Corporate' account in your Droid and it'll download and sync your mail, contacts, and calendar items.

A great program is Companion Link. It syncs all of Outlook including contacts which gmaill otherwise ignores.

Just got my Droid 2 weeks back and once I set up my Exchange account (I set it up under Corporate Calendar first) the option to sync that account's contacts came up. HOWEVER, it only syncs your 'personal' contacts, not the main corporate address book, i.e. what shows up under My Contacts in Outlook, not what shows up under Global Address Book.

I am experiencing radom CorporateCalendar sync problems. Most appointments from my Outlook exchange calendar sync, except for the meetings I set up and invite others to. Any ideas how to fix this problem? I have a Droid.

I use Missing Sync as the tool to synchronize my outlook contacts, calendar, notes, sms, etc to my android. It works most of the time but sometimes has a few workarounds.
However, my main issue is is I have a contact with 3 different entries for example:
1. outlook info, 2. facebook info, 3. linked in info. In outlook on my desktop, it only sees the outlook contact info. On the android, there are 3 different entries for the one person. The prior android software allowed the user to link all of those into one. But the new software version does not. ANY IDEAS?

Thanks, Spile for recommending MyPhoneExplorer. I just downloaded and tried that app, and no problems at all syncing my Contacts, Calendar Items and Notes from Outlook. This was my biggest concern about going to the Moto Droid 2 from a Blackberry. I figured I was going to have to buy a $50 software to sync up, but this worked perfectly.
Thanks for the tip!
Also, a donation helps the person developing this app, which I was happy to do!
Thanks!
